Why "Everybody" Is The Solution
The President's visit to India makes this little video topical. Nevermind that it is directed at development workers, it is the answer to that conversation-stopping, cynical, “What about India and China?” remark that so often comes up in discussions about taking action against climate change. India and China want to clean up their acts even more than the U.S. does because of the economic opportunities and health benefits that come along with doing so. This year, China is building wind capacity three times faster than the U.S. and India's new solar ambitions are breathtaking. The developing nations will most certainly act aggressively against climate change-inducing greenhouse gases as soon as they can be confident the U.S. will act, too. From wbCCDP via YouTube
